Zapaterto wins, Rajoy grows, Llamazares disappears!

PSOE, with Zapatero as their leader, wins this year’s elections and establishes the President of our Government for the next 4 years.
PP, with Rajoy as their leader, is the party that grows the most during these elections compared to the 2004 ones, but not enough to govern. Which leaves their leader in an indecisive position about his continuation as leader of the party (this question will be resolved next Wednesday).
IU, on their side, with Llamazares as their leader, has obtained such awful results that their leader has been forced to resign his post.
These elections have shown the weakness of the pro-independence parties, as much ERC and PNV, have seen the confidence of their voters in them diminish. The only party that has been able to maintain the same number of seats at Parliament is the CIU.
We will see what happens between this country’s main parties during this legislature; if they finally reach a point of understanding, or if they will continue with the usual confrontations.
